Tanjore ART Painting By Mrs SWARNA RAJA

I am a self developed woman. I have specialized in Traditional Tanjore Art – with all natural colours and traditional technique called Fresco – secco.
Started painting about 10 years which I learnt from a teacher in Madurai and I have practiced and perfected on the natural colours ( organic colours).

Today I have my own studio where I have displayed my art and selling them.
I also teach students – till today about 100 students have learnt this art.

Along with Tanjore Art – I also paint

5. Glass painting
6. Modern Art – Crayon, Pencil, Water colour.

Lot of my friends says – “you learn fast, also teach very well.”
I say first it’s – God’s Gift & second ‘ Making time to learn’.

ACCOMPLISHMENT
FM radio – I spoke in Radio “Hello FM” in Chennai about me and art.
Newspaper – Local Bangalore newspaper covered an article about me and my painting
Lecture – I have given lecture cum Demo for the class 8th & 9th students of DRDO – KV on Tanjore Art.
Television – I have given a Interview for Kalash TV in New Delhi.
